The Best Homemade Teething Biscuits

Little one’s love gnawing on these simple teething cookies…

Charlotte is teething like crazy. While she patiently waiting for that 1st tooth to pop through, I've been experimenting with easy, all-natural teething biscuit recipes & this one is our absolute favorite.

HEALTHY HOMEMADE TEETHING BISCUITS
MAKES: about 6 large biscuits
2 cups baby oatmeal
1 mashed banana
1 teaspoon organic ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
4 tablespoons water
1. Preheat the oven to 425˚F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix all of the ingredients in a medium bowl using your hands until the dough is squishy and sticks together when pressed between your fingers.
3. Pat or roll the mixture out to about 1/4" thick on a cutting board. Cut into sticks or use a cookie cutter to make shapes (you want them to be as solid as possible, so avoid intricate cutters).
4. Bake 15 minutes or until golden, then turn off the oven and let harden in there for about 20 more minutes. The longer they sit the harder they'll get, so sometimes I leave them in even longer if I let some of the hot air out first.
5. Store in an air-tight container up to 1 week or in the freezer up to 3 months.

Recipe note: Always watch your little one when they're chewing on a teething biscuit, once they mush it down, it's possible that they can bite off a chunk so you just want to make sure you're paying attention—don't give it to them and then walk away!
